This opening ceremony not only marks the official opening of Zhoushan Changqiao Ocean Park, but also an important part of the Zhejiang Province aquatic wildlife protection science popularization campaign, aimed at increasing public awareness and attention to marine life and ecological environment protection.

Zhoushan Changqiao Ocean International Tourism Resort is planned, designed, invested and operated by Hangzhou Changqiao Tourism Investment Group. It is an island tourism resort with polar oceans and rainforest biology as its core resources and has world leading significance. The total construction area is about 130000 square meters, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan.
